Our purpose is to train and equip students in servant-leadership through actively learning the teachings and model of Jesus our Messiah.
Leading in Kingdom Service
Higher Ground: Year One
HG Students will be:
Taught how to communicate Biblical truth
Taught how to share their learning through various techniques
Taught how to identify Spiritual gifts
Given the opportunity to excel in roles of service
Taught techniques and skills of studying the Scriptures
Taken on a local Mission Trip
Higher Ground: Year Two
HG Students will be:
Receiving teachings to reinforce their learning from HG 1
Taken on a KAA Konnect Mission Trip
Taught the Principles of Leadership and Ministry Development
Receiving teaching on Relational Skill Building and Biblical Conversations
Trained in the ministry of KAA Kaleo to equip them to be able to bring campers to camp
Higher Ground: Year Three
HG students will be:
Given personal leadership responsibilities
Given opportunity to engage in lesson/teaching prep
Partnering with students’ local ministries preparing them to co-labor in their churches
Taught to Cast World Vision and prepared for Community Outreach
Engaged in an intensive deep dive of Scriptures
Taking part in a U.S. Mission Trip
Completed with their assignments and considered a graduate of the Higher Ground Leadership Camp Program
Higher Ground Alumni
The Higher Ground Alumni consists of HG Students that complete the Higher Ground 3-Year curriculum and have graduated into the official Kids Across America Alumni Network; identified as HG Alumni. This serves as a resource for our HG students after graduation that will help support them in everyday life events.
HG Alumni are privy to:
Quarterly ‘Catch Ups’ with the HG Alumni
Developing practical life skills
Building professional connections and resume training
Expanding their financial literacy

Enrollment Fees
A $25 per person deposit and completion of the online policy agreement is needed to solidify registration.
HG Entry Cost: $225 for 6 days
HG Missions Cost: $300 for is 13 days
HG Equip Cost: $225 for 6 days
Ages
Higher Ground 14-18
These ages are not flexible and must not be altered. Your HG student must meet the correct age requirement to be enrolled.
HG Equip: 19 and older

HG Equip: Year Three
HG Equip is a transformative program designed for young adults, ages 19 and up, who are eager to deepen their faith and make a lasting impact through ministry. Participants in HG Equip will engage in:
- Intense Biblical Teaching – Dive deep into the Word, understanding its context and how it applies to daily life.
- Ministry Training – Gain practical skills and experience to lead and serve effectively within various ministry settings.
- Disciple-Making Strategies – Learn proven approaches to disciple others and build a strong, faith-centered community.
This immersive program equips participants with the spiritual foundation and practical tools needed to grow as committed disciples and empowered leaders in their communities.
Higher Ground: Alumni
The Higher Ground Alumni consists of HG Students who have completed the 3 Year Higher Ground Program and have graduated into the official Kids Across America Alumni Network. They will be identified as HG Alumni. This serves as a resource for our HG students after graduation that will help support them in everyday life events.

Higher Ground is a two-year Christian Leadership Camp designed to encourage and equip High School students with a primary focus on biblical Disciple-Making and Servant-Leadership Development.
HG has trained over 4,000 campers from 30 states across the country. Many of our past graduates have gone on to become Summer Staff at KAA and are highly sought after for their integrity and leadership skills, and many of our HG graduates are now serving in some highly respected fields like nursing, Youth Leaders and teachers.
