Kids Across America and Athletes in Action are united by a shared calling: to use the platform of sports and the power of mentoring to transform lives for Christ. Together, we are committed to building Christian leaders who will impact their families, communities, and the world.
Kids Across America exists to encourage, equip, and empower urban youth and their mentors through camping and education, while Athletes in Action seeks to see every athlete in every nation experience the hope and purpose found in Jesus.
By partnering, we will mesh our strengths—KAA’s life-changing camp experiences and AIA’s global reach in sports ministry—to create spaces where faith is ignited, leadership is developed, and the Gospel is lived out on and off the field. Our vision is to see the next generation rise up as servant leaders, grounded in Christ, who carry the message of hope into every arena of life.
Together, we believe sports are not just a game but a God-given platform for discipleship, unity, and lasting impact.
Meet Chanel, a KAA & AIA partner: She is a devoted follower of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ with a heart for discipleship and equipping the next generation of believers. Over the years, she has served as a program director, Bible study leader, and mentor to both college students and camp counselors, empowering women from diverse cultures and backgrounds to seek the Lord in spirit and in truth and to be transformed by knowing Him personally. Her ministry journey has taken her from local outreach in Chicago and Milwaukee to international mission work in the Persian Gulf, Greece, and Turkey, reflecting a deep commitment to sharing the gospel across cultures. After graduating from Marquette University with a degree in International Affairs, she has sought to combine a reverence for God’s Word and a love for people to create spaces where young leaders are encouraged, equipped, and inspired to walk boldly in faith. She now serves as the Assistant Women’s Director at Kids Across America 3, where she disciples and develops young women. She also partners with Athletes in Action at Mizzou, walking alongside student-athletes as they integrate faith and sport into every aspect of their lives.
